Sabby's Safe Haven

A Program To Protect The Pets of Victims of Domestic Violence is in the works at The Violence Prevention Center of Southwestern Illinois. As soon as we receive funding, families seeking shelter from violence will be able to bring their pets along with them. The pets will be housed in foster homes as long as the family is in residence.

Pets housed in the Sabby's Safe Haven Program will be required to have current vaccinations, heartworm antigen test, parasite check and must be neutered. Pets will be matched to appropriate foster homes, which will be licensed under the supervision of IL-MO Rescue, NFP.
